Hot Tube
The Hot Tube models are gas fired evaporators. These evaporators are designed to operate on natural gas or propane. The E-600 and larger evaporators can be equipped to operate on #2 fuel oil or diesel.
The heat exchanger tube is elevated above the bottom of the tank which allows for solids and sludge to fall past the heat exchanger to the bottom of the evaporator tank. The reducing diameter over the tube length maintains scrubbing velocity for high efficiency. All exterior surfaces of the heat exchanger tube are polished for ease of cleaning.
